WOW!!!

Has it really almost been a month since the last time I posted!!! Well I have some info to share with you!!!! At Paper Popsicles there is a clearance sale going on!!!! I'm talking great sale on pattern paper by 3bugs, Dream Streets, Scribble Scrabble, Pebbles Inc., and more! Also rubons, stickers, clear stamps by Heidi Swapp....Can you say Super Sale!!!!! Eight pages worth of clearance goodies!!! You better hurry because at these prices they won't last long!

Also my friend, Taryn at Paper Popsicles is opening a scrapbooking retreat! How fun is that!!!! It's called the the hamburg hideaway. I have given you links to see how it's turning out!! I love watching the progress of her remodel! I would love to go and hope to one day! It's in Hamburg Pennsylvania. And I do have family in NJ, so that would be a fun side trip!

On my business side, I have been trying to complete a Making Waves set since February!! UGH! But there is light at the end of the tunnel and I'm determined to finish it up this weekend...Husband willing!!hahaha Also I have been working with another friend at Paper Popsicles, Brenda. She couldn't find an owl stamp that she liked. So through PM's back and forth I think I came up with something she likes! I need to clean him and his friends up and send her a copy to see if she likes him and his friends or if there is still changes to be made. I think he is rather cute! A bit chuncky, but aren't we all!!! hahaha Now you know what has been keeping me busy along with my energetic 5 year old!!! I'm tired!

Fun with my new toy!!!

I love my new toy....a camera!!!! A Canon Powershot A580 to be exact. I was able to try it out the next day when we went to see Thomas the Train on the 12th. Alot of fun and alot of opportunity to take photos!!! I still have alot of playing to do, that is how I love to learn. Yes I read the directions and manuals but for the most part I play! Yesterday I tried out the micro..I got a few real closeup photos of Timmy's face, I love those blue eyes and eyelashes!!! Timmy liked to make faces and see how they came out...ME TOO!!! Here's one close up and personal!!! hey sounds like a good title for a layout!!!haahaha which reminds me I have to get all the photos developed to see how much I really do like my new camera!!!

WHAT!!!!

I haven't blogged in almost 3 months!!!! OH My!!! Thanks to Tricia for giving me a kick in the pants...very nicely though!!! She emailed me a note, short and sweet....."update your blog!!!" So here I am updating my blog!!!
So much going on, alot of Birthdays in March. Which means alot of running around. but now it is April and only mine and my nephews birthday is this month....at the end of the month in fact! We do have one more party for DS at Grrrmamas house, since my niece is home from college this weekend. We can't leave out Timmy's favorite Andra as he calls her!
Then I have also been busy with the stamp company....if I'm not working on orders I'm creating new stamps...I think y'all will love the new one in the works!!! I've also been working with Melissa at Paper Popsicles. She made an awesome set of Robots, they are so much fun and come in a wonderful theme pack! Then we put our heads together and came up with a wonderful little set. But don't let the size fool you it is so versatile your inks will dry before you finish thinking of possibilities for this set!!! It is available in the Lemon Pie kit at Paper Popsicles. She may be selling it in her store also...but the kit is really fun and the stamps were made to match that set beautifully!!!
Well back to work...had to update the blog didn't want to let Tricia down!!! You should come and chat with all of us at the forum...she'll keep you in stitches....hum another idea for a stamp set don't you think! ;)

A New Year!!!

WOW!!! 2008 is here! My goal is to add a new set of stamps a week. I added the ticker to keep track of my goal, which I set alittle higher. So if you see the butterfly move and want to see what is new in my online store go to http://www.thatsjazzystampdreams.com/ and see what's new! I am very excited and have a few friends inspiring me. I am finishing up on a swirl stamp (below)that Lynda helped inspire along with a layout list that she thought of! And I also have a set that is in the works to use on the gifts and cards alot of you like to do, that was an idea from Tricia. So I have been extremely busy and loving it!!!! Of course Paper Popsicles is my online home, I'm always there when I'm not working on the stamps....sometimes when I am working on the stamps! ahahaahaa Here are the new Swirl stamps I just finished. The large one is 5" and the triple Swirls are 31/2"!

hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy making them!!! They should be available at Paper Popsicles hopefully by next weekend. And of course at that's jazzy stamp dreams site! Well time to get started on another set of stamps!!!

The Store is open for Business!!!

That sounds funny!!! But our online store for the stamps are open. Thanks to some of my wonderful friends I also have some projects posted next to the set of stamps that they used!!! Do you feel left out? I would love to include you in my family of friends and post your projects too! Right now I have a special going....Free Shipping! Personally the whole idea of trying to figure out the cost of shipping is crazy. I need to do more research about that....later! So my busy schedule is your gain!!!! Here is a layout and a tag I did using the snowman set. On the layout I used flocking that comes in Januarys kit from Paper Popsicles. It's called "Life is Beautiful" and I believe it's going to sell fast so if you like it better get it NOW!!!!! The other kit is called "Perfectly" it is a wonderful kit also with rich vibrant colors!

The Ship has sailed!!!

Actually my first shipment of stamps has sailed!!! It has been an exciting and exhilarating week!!!! We got our first order for our stamps from Melissa at Paper Popsicles on the 6th of November and we have been really busy getting everything together to ship out! I loved it!!! Getting up before Timmy so I could get as much done as possible before he woke up and even got Gramama to come over a couple days to entertain him.....Not that I had to twist her arm! She had a great time and Timmy enjoyed having her there to tell his stories to!
I'm posting the stamps that I sent to Melissa....You may want to let her know which ones you desire.....I'm hoping you'll enjoy them as much as I have enjoyed making them. We did check everyone to make sure they are all good...got to keep my friends and customers happy!

Over half way through October!!!

How can time go so fast!!!! It was just September! And you can see how bad I have neglected my blog! shame on me!!!
Okay so maybe I have a good reason....I'll let you decide! I have been working on my new business. I am making stamps, acrylic....I'm designing them and have the equipement to make them and started to produce my stamps! Exciting huh! I think so....I have wanted to have stamps made out of my art for about 10 years now!! But the cost to have someone else make them was too high to ever see a profit without charging everyone an arm and leg! I thought of submitting my work to professional scrapbooking suppliers....don't think I could stand the regection! Plus they may only want a few of my designs and I already have over 35 designs!!! Well I decided that I would investigate what exactly it would take to do what I want. It took alot of research and some monies....Now it is taking alot of time. But after I have all my designs into the computer and ready to make negatives my time will be more evened out!!! At least that is my hopes.....I haven't scrapped since last months tag swap aaaaahhhhh!!!!! And let's NOT get started on my scraproom!!! Which thanks to the group at Paper Popsicles, we are trying to do our rooms together.
Speaking of Paper Popsicles we had a wonderful Fall Fling Crop weekend! I am amazed at how fast these ladies turned out awesome layouts, projects and cards! And the deals at the store were just as amazing!!!! And if you ladies are interested in some wonderful kits...check out Novembers! But they usually sell out fast so don't hesitate! I'm glad I updated my site....need to get back to work!!!

It's September!

What a busy Labor Day weekend! No I didn't get my tiling project done, but it is closer to completion! I have some detail painting to do, then bake it and hang it! but at least there is a light at the end of the tunnel!!!

I did get a layout done of my niece and son. I used the September kit "Romantic" from Paper Popsicles. Sorry to say but this is also sold out! I believe you are still able to get in on Octobers kits...and they are just as sweet as the other months! So if you don't want to miss out you better get your order in!

At Paper Popsicles we're have a big Fall Fling come by and get in on some of the fun and freebees! There will be contest and games and prizes. Also there is a search for October Guest Designer!

Well, I had started this post the beginning of September.......BAD BAD BAD......I guess I should finish it and post something!!! It has been very uneventful in my scraproom lately....I did finish my tags for the tag swap at Paper Popsicles and we are starting a new tag swap for the Holidays!!! how exciting! So I can't say I was totally unproductive in my room. Well let's see if I can keep up with the girls at Paper Popsicles and keep my blog updated!!!!

Projects, Ideas and Research.....

That is what I have in store for the Labor Day weekend....starting tonight! The main PROJECT is tiling the backsplash by my kitchen sink. I only started it in 2002! I can't simply tile I have to paint and bake the tile before installing the tile. The reason it went on hold was I found out I was pregnant and didn't trust the paint fumes. Well baby is 4 1/2 years old! So I need to finish this project! Hubby will be happy to see it completed!
IDEAS come in the form of Scrap layouts and art designs. Also tags, we are having a tag swap at Paper Popsicles. There is 10 ladies participating, it's going to be SOOO much fun!
The RESEARCH is about starting our own business. Hubby likes the sound of that "our". I have been looking into business license, product developement, funding.....ugh!

Another part I'm researching is Ebay to sell some statues of Devil Rays players we got at the games last year and this. I have been wanting to sell mine....don't need three! Now I have a reason! Also some other odds and ends, atleast it can make a dent in the funding part....I hope! So wish me luck in my endeavors, just wanting to keep busy! As a side note I didn't get the call today for Piggy Tales. I was hoping because I really enjoy their papers and accesories. But things happen for a reason and it may have interfered with my business venture. At least that's what I'm telling myself!

As for these layouts they are from Paper Popsicles supplies! Actually Augusts' kit which is no longer available! Sorry, but take a peek at Septembers and Octobers kits! If your interested get them early....they have been going FAST! I haven't been disappointed with anything from Paper Popsicles!
The "future gardener?" is my son being curious. He would take the fake fruit and veggies in and out of the basket! "In Line" is a photo of my son's master work of lining things up. He took his favorite book "Bear snores on" and put his bears in a line over the top of the book. It was too cute and had to get a photo of it! I still smile thinking of him hunting for stuffed bears to put together!
